Texas A&M’s elite offensive line haul in the 2025 recruiting class included landing six signees in the trenches, preparing OL coach Adam Cushing for the future and providing immediate depth next season behind an O-line that could be the best-performing unit in the SEC in 2025.
In the 2026 cycle, head coach Mike Elko and Cushing have yet to land an offensive line commitment, but that could change very soon, as five-star IOL Lamar Brown, who is set to take several visits to College Station over the next three months, included Texas A&M in his top 4 program list on Friday afternoon.
Texas A&M joins LSU, Miami, and Florida State within his final four list. It will host Brown twice this spring and will return this summer on June 13-15 for an official visit, which is significant news considering that the Louisiana native is likely LSU’s No. 1 priority prospect.
Brown is by far the most athletic and physical offensive line prospect in the 2026 cycle. He is versatile as a defensive lineman, similar to 2025 4-star and Texas A&M commit Kiotti Armstrong, who also thrives as a defensive end. Brown’s future position will be based on the school he chooses, but I’m confident he will continue as an interior offensive lineman if he commits to Texas A&M.
According to 247Sports Composite, Brown is currently positioned as the 6th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 1-ranked IOL, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Louisiana.
