Georgia recruiting target, Florida State commit, visiting other schools

Four-star Florida State Seminoles commit Darryl Bell is visiting other programs that are pursuing him, according to On3. Several schools offered him and his top schools include Florida State, Michigan, Nebraska, Auburn, Alabama, and Georgia.

Bell is a four-star safety from the class of 2026. The 6-foot, 192-pound safety plays football for Barbara Goleman High School in Hialeah, Florida. He committed to the Florida State Seminoles in 2023, but he’s a major flip target, especially considering his visit to Alabama on June 6, 2025.

The Georgia Bulldogs offered the four-star safety on Jan. 22, 2025. There’s no visit (unofficial or official) planned yet, but there could be one coming soon. Bell is the No. 30 safety in the entire 2026 class, and the No. 372 recruit in the nation.

The Bulldogs currently boast the 17th-ranked recruiting class in the nation with five commitments in total, including four four-stars and one three-star. Prospects such as Ebenezer Ewetade and Deacon Schmitt have put Georgia in their top five schools, but there haven’t been many recent commitments to Georgia.

Regardless, if Georgia were to flip Bell, it would be the second time in a row Georgia has flipped a prospect from Florida State in recent memory, with the Bulldogs flipping wide receiver CJ Wiley from the Seminoles in 2025.
