Ohio State football gets commitment from 4-star offensive lineman Max Riley

Ohio State has added an offensive line to its 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star interior lineman Max Riley of Avon Lake, Ohio.

Class of 2026 Avon Lake offensive lineman Maxwell Riley visits the field and talks to former OSU offensive line coach Justin Frye ahead of Ohio State’s 35-7 win over the Iowa on Oct. 5.

Riley announced his decision to On3 on Monday. He is the 114th-ranked prospect nationally and fourth-ranked in Ohio in the 247Sports.com’s composite rankings. He picked the Buckeyes over Clemson.

Riley is listed at 6-5 and 280 pounds. He is the fifth commitment in OSU’s 2026 recruiting class, and the first to commit to the Buckeyes under new line coach Tyler Bowen.
