CLEMSON — Clemson football season-ticket holders will have to spend more money to watch the Tigers in 2025 at Memorial Stadium.
Clemson announced new prices for season tickets on Saturday, charging $600 in the lower deck of Memorial Stadium and $500 in the top deck. Rates are “a savings of more than 30 percent from the anticipated single-game rates.” Season ticket renewals and deposits for the 2025 season are open until April 15.
It is a $14.29 per game price increase in the lower deck and $7.14 per game in the top deck over 2023 and 2024 pricing, per Clemson’s media release. Clemson said it “benchmarked its pricing model nationally and based it upon previous ticket prices, sales, secondary market and peer review.”
Clemson is one of many Power 4 schools that have raised ticket prices to generate additional revenue as the House settlement is expected to go into effect this summer. The settlement will allow schools to share around $20 million directly with athletes in 2025-26. The total will increase in future seasons as college athletics revenue grows.
Clemson has added a student athletics fee and unveiled a revenue-generating entity, Clemson Ventures, to help prepare the athletic department for these anticipated changes. With this new ticket change, it aims for additional dollars.
How much Clemson football made in ticket sales
According to the latest NCAA financial report that covers the fiscal year starting July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2024, Clemson generated $34.5 million in ticket sales in its 2023 football season.
The ticket sales boom came from a price increase in single-game home tickets for its top 2023 matchups, including Notre Dame and Florida State, and a change to the state’s license tax code, according to a Clemson spokesperson.
