LSU lands top wide receiver prospect over Tennessee

Tennessee has lost a recruiting battle over a coveted prospect.

2026 five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys committed to LSU over the Vols and other SEC programs among Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

Keys is the No. 1 wide receiver in the class according to both On3 and 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 2 wide receiver, according to Rivals and ESPN 300.

Tennessee first offered Keys a scholarship on April 2, 2024. He unofficially visited Tennessee for the Florida game on Oct. 12, 2024 and again on Nov. 2, 2024 for the Kentucky game.

Keys was scheduled for an official visit to Tennessee on March 10.

The Vols have eight commitments for there 2026 class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
