SOUTH BEND —Jourdan Blake, who spent the past two seasons in the recruiting department at Colorado, has joined Notre Dame football as its new director of player personnel.
Notre Dame made the announcement on Tuesday evening. Blake replaces Zaire Turner, who followed former Notre Dame general manager Chad Bowden to USC in late January.
Also announced Tuesday were the additions of Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa as director of recruiting advancement and Ariella Ellis as director of on-campus recruiting. Tagovailoa-Amosa, a former Irish defensive lineman and team captain in 2021, spent last season as a graduate assistant at LSU.
Ellis, a 2021 Virginia State graduate, spent the past two years as football operations director at her alma mater, which competes at the Division II level.
A former reserve defensive back at Baylor (2014-17) and Southern Methodist (2018), Blake is the son of former Oklahoma coach John Blake, the first Black head coach in any sport for the Sooners.
