Georgia football earns visit from Minkah Fitzpatrick’s brother

Having coached with Nick Saban at Alabama, Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart developed a strong defensive pedigree, working with players such as first-round NFL draft pick Minkah Fitzpatrick. Currently, Smart is looking to add Fitzpatrick’s younger brother, Justice, to his Georgia football roster.

Fort Lauderdale (Florida) St. Thomas Aquinas cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick received an early scholarship offer from Georgia. Fitz he has visited Athens before and he is planning to be back on March 21-22 and then for an official visit on May 30.

“Coach Smart coached my brother at Alabama, so we know him really well,” Fitzpatrick told On3.(Subscription. required) “I know him well, my family knows him well and we have a great relationship. I have gotten to know the coaches at Georgia well, I have worked with them at camp and I feel like Georgia checks off most of my boxes.”

Fitzpatrick is the No. 51 recruit in the nation and the fifth-ranked cornerback. He is the No. 5 recruit in Florida, per 247Sports. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound cornerback is ranked as a four-star recruit in the class of 2026.

Miami and Texas are other schools Fitzpatrick has official visits lined up with. He will visit Ohio State this month too.
