Ahead of an anticipated commitment before his senior year, four-star safety Blake Stewart of Woodward Academy (Atlanta, Georgia) is undertaking important visits and trimming his top college football options.
He spent part of March visiting Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Miami. He has had visits to Michigan on March 18th and Vanderbilt on March 22nd.
His official visit schedule is filling up, with SMU on May 2nd, Clemson on May 30th, and Miami on June 13th. He intends to add two or three more visits, carefully choosing from a pool of strong contenders like Michigan, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and the newly involved Texas A&M.
“Georgia’s culture and history of player development stand out, coaches T-Rob (Travaris Robinson) and coach Thacker like my versatility in the secondary and the program’s strong track record of sending players to the NFL also stands out about Georgia,” Stewart told On3 (subscription required).
Stewart ranks as the No. 280 recruit in the class of 2026 and the No. 22 safety. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound safety is the No. 32 recruit in Georgia.
