LSU football picked up two wide receiver commitments this week, which brought its 2026 class to No. 1 in the nation.
The cycle’s top wide receiver Tristen Keys made his announcement on Wednesday. He was followed by Jabari Mack, a four-star who made his intentions known on Saturday.
They join Jakai Anderson, the first commitment for head coach Brian Kelly’s 2026 class, and No. 24 wide receiver Kenny Darby. All four pass catchers rank inside the top 50 at their position.
Thanks to the commitments of Keys and Mack, the Tigers pulled ahead of USC and Oregon in the national rankings for 2026 classes, according to On3’s Industry Rankings. Texas A&M and Auburn round out the top five.
Here are LSU’s four wide receiver commitments in the 2026 class.
Tristen Keys, Five-Star
Keys is the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2026 cycle, announcing he committed to the Tigers over Tennessee, Alabama, and Texas A&M on Wednesday.
A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Keys stands a six-foot-two and 185 pounds. As a junior, he recorded 1,275 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns, leading his team to a deep playoff run. On3 scouts note that he “excels in contested catch situations” with the ability to get vertical and control his body in the air.
Jabari Mack, Four-Star
The latest commitment, Mack made his announcement on Saturday. The New Orleans native chose his home state school over Texas, Texas A&M, and Ohio State.
The six-foot, 200-pounder is the No. 11 wide receiver and No. 5 prospect out of Louisiana. He attended Destrehan High School and was teammates with 2025 LSU signee Phillip Wright III.
Kenny Darby, Four-Star
Darby hails from Bossier City, LA and committed to LSU in November 2024, and doubled down in January. He is Louisiana’s No. 7 prospect and No. 24 at his position.
