Abdul Carter meets with Jaguars, feels he’s the best player in the Daft

Could it be a No. 1 NFL Draft pick kind of performance?
The dynamic defensive end is the headliner of the Penn State football Pro Day workouts in Holuba Hall, the annual gathering of former Nittany Lions running, lifting weights and doing drills in front of NFL scouts, coaches and front-office types.
He will lead an intriguing mix of front-end stars (tight end Tyler Warren, safety KJ Winston), hopeful draft-risers (safety Jaylen Reed, linebacker Kobe King) and those simply trying to prove they belong (cornerback Jalen Kimber, offensive lineman Sal Wormley).
It’s a particularly big opportunity for all, in various ways. Reed was the only one who gave a full-workout at the NFL Combine in late-February. The rest will be showing-out now in front of NFL personnel for the first and possibly only time.
Carter and Warren, in particular, could help cement themselves as high first-round picks at the NFL Draft in late April in Green Bay. To potentially become Penn State’s first pair of Top 10 picks in 25 years. Winston must prove he is at full-heath after being sidelined by a knee injury since early September.
The ever-confident Carter expects to highlight the raw skills that make him the most valuable pass rusher and, quite possibly, the most coveted overall player in the nation. And to back up his claims that he is, like Winston, at premium health again. A shoulder injury and stress reaction in his foot kept Carter from working out at the combine.
