Jackson State football to play spring game Saturday. See time details

With many college football teams moving away from spring games, Jackson State football is not one of them.

The Tigers announced last week that they will host their annual 2025 spring football game. JSU will hold its Blue vs. White game at 3 p.m., Saturday at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.

JSU fans will be able to see the Tigers and coach T.C. Taylor in action for the first time since their 2024 Celebration Bowl season. JSU ended the 2024 season with a 12-2 record.

Some notable JSU returners on offense include starting quarterback Jacobian Morgan and receivers Travis Terrell Jr., Rico Powers Jr., Tyquan Henderson and Fabian McCray. On defensive linebacker Reid Pulliam, defensive lineman Jeremiah Williams and Mississippi State transfer defensive back Khamauri Rogers.

JSU announced its full schedule on Feb. 1 with its first game against Hampton on Aug. 30 in Jackson.

The Tigers’ highlighted games include traveling to Hattiesburg and facing Southern Miss, hosting Tuskegee in the W.C. Gorden Classic and heading to Las Vegas to play Grambling State in the HBCU Classic. JSU’s homecoming game will be against Alabama State on Oct. 11.

When is Jackson State’s football spring game for 2025?

JSU’s spring game will begin at 3 p.m. and be held at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium. The game is open for fans to attend, with tailgate areas available around the stadium.
