Nation’s No. 7 quarterback Bowe Bentley names his top three schools

The Georgia Bulldogs are in deep talks with class of 2026 four-star quarterback recruit Bowe Bentley, who named Georgia in his top three schools, according to Hayes Fawcett. His other top schools are the LSU Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners.

Bentley is a four-star recruit in the class of 2026. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound passer is a dual threat quarterback from Celina High School in Celina, Texas. He led Celina to a 16-0 record and their first state championship in Texas since 2007. Bentley has gotten comparisons to John Mateer from Oklahoma, according to 247Sports. He was also part of the Navy All-American Bowl.

Bentley also plays soccer and lacrosse at Celina High School. He is the seventh best quarterback and 76th ranked prospect in the nation.

Bentley is set to visit Georgia on June 6, 2025. He will visit Oklahoma on June 13 and already officially visited LSU on March 30.

Georgia is in transition at quarterback following the transfer of Carson Beck to Miami. Currently, redshirt junior quarterback Gunner Stockton has experience starting, but redshirt freshman Ryan Puglisi is in contention for the starting job. Georgia also has freshmen quarterbacks Hezekiah Millender and Ryan Montgomery, who’s currently rehabbing a torn ACL.

Regardless, Georgia has been looking for a talented quarterback in the class of 2026. Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis is down to Georgia and Oregon as his top two schools and has an upcoming commitment set for May 5. If Georgia couldn’t get Curtis, then Bentley would be a nice quarterback recruit to land.
