Class of 2026 recruit Simeon Caldwell commits to Ohio State football

Another one of the top 100 high school players in the 2026 recruiting class per the 247Sports composite rankings has committed to Ohio State football.

On Thursday, four-star safety/outside linebacker Simeon Caldwell of Jacksonville, Florida, shared his intention to join the Buckeyes with multiple reporters.

Caldwell is 6-3, 185 pounds. He is rated as the No. 95 player in the country, No. 12 in the state of Florida and No. 7 at the linebacker position.

He chose the Buckeyes over Georgia, Miami (Florida), Michigan and Notre Dame.

In the past month, OSU has also landed commitments from offensive lineman Max Riley (No. 87 nationally) and safety Blaine Bradford (No. 58), while wide receiver Chris Henry (No. 27) reaffirmed his choice to attend Ohio State and canceled visits to other schools.
