UCF lands commitment from Olympia safety Ja’Cari Jackson

UCF added another piece to its 2026 recruiting class with the verbal commitment of Olympia High safety Ja’Cari Jackson on Sunday.

Jackson, a two-way star for the Titans, announced after receiving an offer this week from the Knights’ coaching staff.

The 6-foot, 190-pound standout plays receiver and quarterback as well as lining up at safety and nickel.

He becomes the sixth commitment to UCF’s 2026 recruiting class and the third player to pledge to the Knights over the past two weeks. He joins receiver Tyren Wortham (Booker High), offensive lineman Kasiyah Charlton (Brunswick, Ga., High) and cornerback Elijah Keys (Fletcher High).

They join a group that includes linebackers Kymani Morales (American Heritage) and Michael McClenton (Ocoee).

Recruiting Central Florida and in-state has been a big focus of Scott Frost and his new coaching staff, even during his previous stint in 2016-17.

Before Jackson’s commitment, UCF’s class was ranked No. 45, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.

All verbal commitments are non-binding but can become official during the early signing period in December.
