Clemson football spring transfer portal tracker 2025

CLEMSON — The spring football transfer window hasn’t opened yet, but Clemson football players are announcing their intentions of leaving.

After Clemson’s spring game on April 5, coach Dabo Swinney said the Tigers’ involvement in the portal, which opens April 16 and closes April 25, depends on if players choose to depart.

“Those are things you just have to respond to, but if everything stayed the same today, we feel good about our roster,” Swinney said. “We’ve got a lot of work to do, but we’re ready to go to battle with the guys we got.”

Clemson has never landed a spring transfer in the portal’s existence, but that could change if multiple players elect to depart. Players who enter the portal can commit to a new school at any time, whether or not it is within the transfer window.

The Tigers lost five players in the winter cycle but added three transfers: wide receiver Tristan Smith, defensive end Will Heldt and linebacker Jeremiah Alexander. It was the most transfers the Tigers have landed in a cycle in the portal’s existence.

Here’s a look at who is leaving and joining Clemson football via the spring transfer portal.

Who is transferring out of Clemson football?

Tavoy Feagin, CB: Feagin plans to enter the transfer portal when it opens, according to On3Sports. The redshirt freshman, who has four years of eligibility, appeared in two games last season to play 11 defensive snaps. He did not participate in Clemson’s spring game on April 5. When asked why Feagin was not participating, Swinney said, “He was just not out there.”

Destination: TBD
