One of the more anticipated times of year for an Alabama Crimson Tide football fan has now officially arrived, as the program is set to hold its’ annual “A-Day” spring game this upcoming Saturday from inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
However, this year’s version of A-Day will not necessarily look the same as the past, with the being difference likely being the fact that the spring game will not be televised. It will still be held inside of Bryant-Denny Stadium however, and will be a public showcase of the 2025 version of the Crimson Tide under second year head coach Kalen DeBoer.

Who has the advantage in Alabama’s quarterback competition?
We begin with the storyline that has dominated Alabama’s offseason so far in the ongoing quarterback competition, in particular, which of the three names has the advantage, if any? Entering the spring game, the starting spot feels like it is still Ty Simpson’s to lose, but the competition is certainly close between the former five-star, Austin Mack, and freshman Keelon Russell.
Alabama true freshmen making first Bryant-Denny Stadium appearance
Saturday will mark the first public appearance for Alabama’s 2025 freshman class inside of Bryant-Denny Stadium in game action. There are multiple freshmen who have had strong springs such as wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks and cornerback Dijon Lee, and many of those same names could have big days Saturday.
Attention is on Alabama’s wide receiver room
