A trio of schools have emerged as suitors for former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jaden Rashada. Rashada, a rising redshirt sophomore, has three seasons of eligibility left.
Rashada, a former four-star recruit, has already visited the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. The Tulane Green Wave and UConn Huskies have all reached out to the former Georgia quarterback. All three schools are in Conference USA and are looking for help at quarterback. Teams have had a chance to evaluate their quarterback position over the course of spring practice and should know where they stand at the critical position.
Rashada left Georgia after spending one season with the Arizona State Sun Devils. He has 82 career passing attempts, which are all during his freshman season (2023) with Arizona State. He threw for 485 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions in 2023.
Rashada did not play during the 2024 season with Georgia, but he is ranked as the top available transfer portal quarterback in the country (ahead of the upcoming transfer portal window, which opens on April 16). The 6-foot-4, 190-pound passer has a strong arm, but will be joining the third school of his college career, so he needs to pick the right place before he starts running out of quality opportunities.
Georgia football’s spring game will be held on April 12 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
