Tennessee makes top six for 2026 wide receiver from Alabama

Tennessee is looking to add to its 2026 football recruiting class.

2026 four-star wide receiver Marquez Daniel listed Tennessee, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Miami and North Carolina as his top six schools. Additional SEC schools to offer Daniel include Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Texas.

Daniel plays for Booker T. Washington High School in Tuskegee, Alabama. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 9 player in Alabama and the No. 14 wide receiver in 2026.

At 6-foot-5, 195 pounds, Daniel’s physique resembles former Tennessee wide receiver Dont’e Thornton Jr. and current Vols’ wide receiver Chris Brazzell III.

Tennessee offered Daniel a scholarship on Aug. 21, 2023. He has yet to visit any school, but has scheduled visits to Auburn and Florida in June.

The Vols have eight commitments for 2026: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
