Penn State lands commitment from Peyton Falzone

Penn State’s 2026 recruiting class just received a major addition.

On Saturday evening, James Franklin and Co. earned a commitment from 4-star quarterback Peyton Falzone, one of their top targets in the class.

Falzone ranks as the No. 6 recruit in Pennsylvania in the cycle and the No. 17 quarterback. He becomes the second gunslinger in the class, joining fellow 4-star Troy Huhn, who ranks as the No. 19 quarterback.

Penn State’s 2026 class is now up to 10 members, and with Falzone’s commitment, jumped from No. 12 up to No. 6 nationally and from fourth in the Big Ten to third.

In addition, Falzone works with quarterback trainer Brad Maendler, who also trained current Nittany Lions Drew Allar and Ethan Grunkemeyer.

Penn State likes to say “the best in PA stay in PA, and that rings true, as its 2026 class now comprises of five Pennsylvania natives, including four of the top six in-state prospects.

Though there will be many more recruits to come, the Nittany Lions’ class is off to a promising start as of mid-April.
