Florida State football quarterback Trever Jackson will be on the move as he plans to enter the transfer portal. This was first reported by On3.

Jackson spent one season as a redshirt freshman at FSU, where he was a member of the scout team. He made only one game appearance last season against Charleston Southern.

The 6-foot-3, 191-pound dual-threat quarterback will have four years remaining of his eligibility. The Winter Gardens native was a four-star prospect out of Jones High School.

He initially committed to Ole Miss and had interests from other schools such as Missouri, Texas A&M and UCLA. Despite his options, he decided to walk on for the Seminoles.

With Jackson gone, FSU has four quarterbacks on the roster. Tommy Castellanos, Brock Glenn, and Kevin Sperry are the three QBs on scholarship.

The transfer portal reopens Wednesday (April 16) and will close on April 25.
