FSU quarterback Trever Jackson to enter transfer portal

Florida State Seminoles football will be losing a reserve player in the quarterback room, with news coming Saturday that redshirt freshman Trever Jackson will enter the transfer portal.

Jackson joined Florida State in 2024 as a walk-on, originally having committed Ole Miss as a four-star prospect and the No. 26 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class.

The Seminoles currently have three scholarship quarterbacks on roster — presumed starter redshirt senior Tommy Castellanos (who transferred in from Boston College this past offseason), redshirt sophomore Brock Glenn and true freshman Kevin Sperry.
