Gregory Patrick spurns the Michigan schools to head to the Fighting Irish
Notre Dame has beat out Michigan and others for the services of offensive lineman Gregory Patrick.
Patrick chose the Fighting Irish over Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State. The four-star recruit comes out of Portage Northern in Michigan.
He had visited South Bend on April 4, and On3 had him ranked as the country’s No. 10 interior offensive lineman and No. 164 overall in the 2026 class. Patrick stands 6’4″ tall and weighs 280 pounds. He was On3’s No. 2 player from Michigan.
He’ll play offensive tackle at Notre Dame. He’ll join Ben Nichols and Sullivan Garvin as Fighting Irish offensive-line recruits out of Michigan.
