Ohio State head coach Ryan Day reacts to annual Spring Game

The Ohio State football team held its annual Spring Game on Saturday, and there was plenty to take from the action on the field. The offense (scarlet) won the contest 50-31 in the modified scoring format, but that doesn’t tell the full story of what happened with competitions abounding, new coaches on the staff, and more.

Head coach Ryan Day always meets with the media after games, and that pertains to the glorified scrimmage Saturday as well. Day took some time at the podium to discuss what he saw not only in the game, but through spring. If you missed any of what he had to say, we have his press conference in its entirety (all 19 minutes of it) thanks to the WBNS 10TV YouTube channel.

Day talks about the quarterbacks, some of the new blood in the program, what he saw from some of the new coaches on staff, and more. Have a listen to how Day feels about how things went on Saturday.

The Buckeyes will now step into the doldrums of the offseason between spring and fall camp. As news becomes available, we’ll continue to stay on top of it and set the table for next year. It’s time to defend that College Football Playoff national championship.
