See who was included in 4-star running back Damon Ferguson’s top schools list released on Sunday
Michigan State football has made the top schools list for a big-time running back prospect in the 2026 class.
Damon Ferguson of Baltimore released his top 11 schools list on Sunday, and Michigan State was included. The Spartans were joined by Ohio State, Pitt, Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, Cincinnati, Indiana, Wake Forest, NC State and Minnesota.
Ferguson is a four-star prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings. He holds a 247Sports composite rating of 0.8965.
Ferguson ranks as the No. 27 running back in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He is also listed as the No. 7 player from Maryland and No. 366 overall prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of more than 40 schools to offer Ferguson, according to 247Sports. Michigan State extended him an offer in late January, and some of the more notable programs to offer Ferguson includes Arkansas, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Northwestern, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, UCF, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Ferguson is set to take official visits to Indiana, Duke, Pitt, Virginia and North Carolina over the next few months.
