The transfer portal has reopened.
For a period that runs through April 25, all players throughout the NCAA’s Division I are eligible to put their names in the online database that allows them to be in contact with other schools.
The spring window follows a winter window that was open in December and extended into January for participants in the College Football Playoff.

WR Reis Stocksdale
Stocksdale entered the portal as it reopened on April 16 following four seasons as a walk-on with the Buckeyes.
He caught one pass for 12 yards in a win at Michigan State in 2022 and contributed on special teams, but injuries limited him in recent years.
Stocksdale tore an anterior cruciate ligament in 2023 that kept him out for the season, and he did not appear in a game last fall.
P Anthony Venneri
Venneri left the Buckeyes after one season as a walk-on.
He transferred to Ohio State from Buffalo last May, but was unable to beat out Joe McGuire or Nick McLarty to be the starting punter and remained behind them on the depth chart.
After punting for the Bulls in 2023 and 2022, he did not appear in a game last fall. He has two seasons of eligibility left.
