As a true freshman defensive lineman last season, Rudolph appeared in two games for Miami, recording one tackle in the Hurricanes’ 62-0 win over Ball State Sept. 14, 2024.

As a prospect, Rudolph was a four-star recruit who was rated by 247Sports as the No. 26 overall edge rusher in the country for the Class of 2024 and a top 15 overall player in Ohio.

Rudolph, a Deerfield Beach, Florida, native, was a two-time first-team All-Ohio selection at Taft and was the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.

As a senior, Rudolph racked up 87 total tackles, 17.5 sacks and 15 tackles for loss in helping lead Taft to a regional championship game appearance.

Rudolph’s offer sheet included several marquee Division I programs. He originally committed to Michigan, then coached by Jim Harbaugh, in July 2023 before flipping to Miami just over a month later.
