Clemson football, Dabo Swinney land 2026 four-star WR Gordon Sellars

CLEMSON — Clemson football added its 14th player in the 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star wide receiver Gordon Sellars on April 18.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder from Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, is rated the No. 12 player in the state by the 247Sports Composite rankings. Sellars chose Clemson over South Carolina and Michigan and announced his commitment at his high school gymnasium.

In his junior season, Sellars recorded 50 catches for 975 yards and 10 touchdowns in 11 games, according to Max Preps. He is the third wide receiver to commit to Clemson’s 2026 class, joining four-star wide receivers Naeem Burroughs and Connor Salmin.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney’s 2026 class is ranked No. 2 nationally. It has nine four-star recruits and five three-stars commits.

Sellars is the first recruit from North Carolina in the 2026 class to commit to the Tigers. He is also the 10th offensive player to verbally commit to Clemson.
