FSU football wide receiver Jalen Brown enters NCAA transfer portal

WATCH: Here’s what Mike Norvell said about NCAA transfer portal

Mike Norvell gives his thoughts on Tuesday’s spring practice. Here’s what he said afterward.

Florida State football wide receiver Jalen Brown is set to enter the transfer portal after one season with the program, per 247Sports.

The redshirt-freshman transferred to the Seminoles from LSU ahead of the 2024 season, and he posted 75 yards on eight receptions in 2024.

Brown had been earning praise from the FSU coaching staff throughout spring practice and seemed to be a fit for the system that offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn runs.

He is the third wide receiver to enter the transfer portal for the Seminoles, joining Hykeem Williams and Jordan Scott. Brown is the fifth player overall to enter the portal for FSU, with quarterback Trever Jackson and offensive lineman Jaylen Early the others.

FSU now has 10 wide receivers on the roster.
