Iowa football QB Brendan Sullivan reached out to by Michigan

Could Iowa Hawkeyes transfer quarterback Brendan Sullivan be nearing a new home within the conference? Early signs are pointing to a big-time player and contender in the Big Ten inquiring about his services after recently leaving Iowa and entering the transfer portal.

Sullivan, who was a spark plug for the Hawkeyes last year in goal-line packages and when thrust into starting action, is in the portal due to the arrival of two-time national champion quarterback Mark Gronowski from South Dakota State.

While he recently entered the portal, it has been reported that one team has already reached out. It is reported that the Michigan Wolverines have contacted Brendan Sullivan.

The move is intriguing, as Michigan currently has Bryce Underwood at quarterback. He is a five-star recruit who was rated as the No. 1 recruit, quarterback, and player in Michigan in the class of 2025, per 247Sports.

Last season at Iowa, Sullivan was 38-of-53 passing for 475 yards with three touchdowns against three interceptions. He added 150 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.

Sullivan, a product of Davison High School in Davison, Mo., was a three-star recruit rated as the No. 49 overall quarterback and No. 17 recruit from Missouri as part of the 2021 class, per 247Sports.
