Texas Tech football safety Brenden Jordan on ’24 season, spring ball
Safety Brenden Jordan made 36 tackles last season, sixth on the Texas Tech football. He also had 3 pass breakups and 2 fumble recoveries.
The Texas Tech football team doesn’t get a chance to win head-to-head battles on the field with Texas A&M and Texas now that both the old rivals are in the Southeastern Conference. The Red Raiders can beat the Aggies and Longhorns for a recruit now and then, though.
On Friday, safety Aaron Bradshaw from undefeated state champion North Crowley committed to Texas Tech over a long list of schools that recruited him, including Texas A&M and Texas. He announced his choice on social media.
North Crowley listed Bradshaw last season at 6-foot-3 and 185 pounds. He made four interceptions on a team that finished 16-0 and won the Class 6A Division I state title. On the 247Sports composite index, he’s listed as a top-500 recruit nationally and No. 64 in Texas.
According to Rivals recruiting service, Bradshaw has taken unofficial visits to Texas, TCU, LSU and Tech. He has scholarships offers from each of those, as well as ones from Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan State, Missouri, Pitt, Texas A&M and West Virginia. Other Texas schools who’ve offered him a scholarship are Houston, SMU, UTEP and UTSA.
Tech now has 10 commitments from high school juniors for its 2026 class. Only two are projected to play offense: interior lineman Jerald “J.J.” Mays from Pflugerville Weiss and quarterback Stephen Cannon from Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia.
