Tennessee is looking for a commitment from a 2026 football recruit.
Four-star running back Amari Latimer listed the Vols in his top six schools along with Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, Wisconsin and Texas, according to On3.
Additional SEC offers for Latimer include South Carolina, Ole Miss, Auburn, Vanderbilt, Florida, Arkansas, Texas A&M and Mississippi State.
The 5-foot-11 209-pound prospect is from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia. He is rated as the No. 18 running back in 2026 and the No. 30 player in Georgia.
Tennessee offered Latimer a scholarship on Jan. 26, 2024. He attended a camp at Neyland Stadium on June 1, 2024 and unofficially visited for the Tennessee-Alabama game in 2024.
The Vols have eight commitments in 2026: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
