Oklahoma State football adds North Carolina CB DeAndre Boykins

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State added more depth to its secondary with yet another Power 4 conference transfer.

North Carolina cornerback DeAndre Boykins has signed with the Cowboys, according to a report from On3.

Boykins is the fourth transfer from a power conference program in the last week for the Cowboys, who have added nine total transfers this spring.

The 6-foot, 200-pound Boykins was a starter at North Carolina in 2022, recording 67 tackles, an interception and seven pass breakups. He missed 2023 with an injury, then appeared in 10 games as a reserve last year, which was his redshirt junior season.

He’s the only defensive back to join the Cowboys from the portal in the spring, but that position group got a hefty boost of depth in the winter from the transfer portal and junior college level.
