NFL Draft Studs and Sleepers: Tyler Warren, other tight end prospects

Penn State football still has a load of prospects on the board for Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Thursday’s opening night was highlighted by Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter (New York Giants) going third overall and tight end Tyler Warren (Indianapolis Colts) coming a bit later at No. 14.
The Nittany Lions’ third pick came in Friday’s third round: safety KJ Winston went to the Tennessee Titans with the 82nd overall pick.
The draft resumes at noon Saturday.
Here are the seven Penn State players still available on Day Three.
Penn State football’s best available players, Rounds 5-7
The next few names from Penn State will likely be on the defensive side of the ball: From safety Jaylen Reed, who played himself into the middle rounds after a strong 2024 season to linebacker Kobe King, a reliable enforcer around scrimmage, to a bevy of linemen.

Reed held his own in the back of the secondary after Winston went down, and he could be a sneaky pick for a team looking for a productive safety. He led Penn State with 98 tackles to go with 2.5 sacks and 3 interceptions.
Kobe King, linebacker, redshirt junior
Don’t be surprised if Kobe King is still on the board late into the third day, because linebacker hasn’t been a hot commodity — only two were chosen in each of the first two rounds. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler has King listed as the No. 8 LB in the class. Let’s see if the linebacker position becomes more prevalent in the following rounds.
