Wide receiver Chimere Dike has been selected by the Tennessee Titans with the first pick in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
The former Florida football wide out transferred to the Gators for the 2024 season after four strong years with the Wisconsin Badgers. In his lone season in Gainesville, he made an instant impact and quickly became quarterback DJ Lagway’s favorite target.
Dike led the team in receptions (42) and racked up 783 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also excelled as Florida’s primary punt returner, averaging a league-best 16.5 yards per return in SEC play.
A team captain and dependable leader, Dike showed up in the biggest moments. He posted four 90+ yard receiving games, including standout performances against the Texas Longhorns and Tulane Green Wave in the Gasparilla Bowl. His late-game heroics against the Tennessee Volunteers–hauling in the game-tying touchdown with just 34 seconds left–cemented his reputation as a clutch performer.
Beyond the box score, Dike also shined during the pre-draft process. He participated in the NFL Combine, Reese’s Senior Bowl and Hula Bowl, showcasing his value to NFL scouts.
Prior to his time with the Gators, Dike starred at Wisconsin, leading the Badgers in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches in 2022. Across his college career, he totaled 139 receptions for 2,255 yards and 11 touchdowns while also contributing as a return specialist.
Dike offers versatility, leadership and big-play ability–all traits that made him an attractive option for the Titans and he’ll be a nice addition for a new-look Tennessee offense led by Cam Ward.
