After the Detroit Lions picked seven new players, they will immediate turn their attention to filling out their expanded roster with undrafted free agents.
General manager Brad Holmes mentioned at the NFL combine in February that the spate of injuries that ravaged the defense last season “made it more evident depth is a huge, critical piece.”

Caden Prieskorn, TE, Ole Miss
The former Orchard Lake St. Mary star spent the last two seasons at Ole Miss, where he caught 57 passes for 850 yards and seven touchdowns. Received a $15,000 and a $60,000 base guarantee.
Mason Miller, OL, North Dakota State
Miller was named to the 2024 Associated Press Football Championship Subdivision All-America team. The right tackle started each of the last three seasons. Received a $10,000 signing bonus and a $20,000 base guarantee.
Ian Kennelly, DB, Grand Valley State
Kennelly made eight interceptions and recorded 19 pass deflections in 49 career games. In 2024, he was selected first-team All-GLIAC. GVSU announced his signing.
Anthony Tyus III, RB, Ohio
After transferring from Northwestern, Tyus gained 1,215 yards and scored nine touchdowns for the Bobcats in 2024. Signing per Aaron Wilson.
