Oklahoma State football lands commitment from tight end Bryton Niu

STILLWATER — The Bedlam rivalry is alive in the Niu household.

Tight end Bryton Niu of Lehi, Utah, committed to Oklahoma State in the 2026 recruiting class, announcing the decision on his X account Saturday afternoon.

Niu’s older brother, Jett, was once committed to OSU as well, before a last-minute flip to OU just before National Signing Day last December.

But the Cowboys’ recruitment of Bryton never wavered, and it paid off Saturday. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound tight end has a long and athletic frame that offers promise for his ability to be a versatile player with both blocking and receiving capabilities.

Niu had 261 yards on 24 receptions as a junior last season. He had offers from a variety of programs, including Arizona, Utah, Utah State, Oregon State, Cal and others.
