Tennessee football offers 2028 quarterback from Florida

Tennessee is already recruiting toward its 2028 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to 2028 quarterback prospect Jayden Wade.

“I am extremely blessed and humbled to say that I have received an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Wade announced.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect is from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He does not have national recruiting rankings.

San Jose State was the first program to offer Wade a scholarship on March 18, 2022. He holds additional offers from Utah, Florida A&M, Georgia, Washington State, Arizona, Oregon, UCF, Arizona State, Michigan, Washington, Florida State, Illinois, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, Miami and SMU.

The Vols do not have any commitments for its 2028 recruiting class. Tennessee has seven commitments for its 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
