Meet the Sun Devils’ recruits

The Arizona State football program has momentum following last season’s historic Big 12 championship run. That has been reflected in the school’s 2026 recruiting class.

It’s a rapidly changing dynamic depending on who adds a recruit and who loses one, but 247Sports has ASU’s 2026 class of 12 athletes ranked No. 11 nationally and No. 2 in the Big 12 behind only Kansas, which is eighth nationally but has two more recruits. Iowa State is one spot behind ASU in the conference with 13 recruits.

Rivals has ASU pegged at No. 12 nationally, with Kansas eighth. On3 has ASU at 16, but first in the Big 12. ESPN has ASU at 14.

QB Jake Fette (6-0, 190, Del Valle HS, El Paso, Texas): Committed on Sept. 22, 2024, becoming the first recruit of the cycle. Made an official visit on April 25. Had 16 offers and might have had more had he not committed so early. ASU was one of six offers from Big 12 schools. Auburn and LSU also offered. Fette also plays basketball and competes in track (sprints, long jump). Threw for 2,488 yards and 32 touchdowns with one interception in 2024 as a junior. Also ran for 589 yards and 11 touchdowns.
