Tennessee made the top three schools for 2026 edge prospect Zach Groves, along with USC and Ole Miss. He will visit Tennessee on June 13.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect is from East Robertson High School in Cross Plains, Tennessee. 247Sports ranks Groves as the No. 26 edge prospect in the class of 2026 and No. 6 player in Tennessee.
Tennessee offered Groves a scholarship on July 29, 2023. He unofficially visited Tennessee for the following games: Austin Peay and South Carolina in 2023, Kent State in 2024. The 2026 prospect also visited Tennessee on Dec. 14, 2024.
Additional SEC scholarship offers for Groves include Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, LSU, Arkansas, Auburn and Georgia.
Tennessee has seven commitments for its 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
