Joshua Singh, BYU transfer, commits to Clark Lea

Joshua Singh, a defensive lineman transfer from BYU, committed to Vanderbilt football via social media April 30.

Singh, a 6-foot, 285-pounder, has played in 27 games as a reserve in four years. In his career, he has recorded 14 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss. He projects as a depth option on the defensive line for the Commodores.

On social media, Singh also reported an offer from SMU.

Singh is the fourth defensive line transfer Vanderbilt has added this spring, alongside North Carolina’s Terry Nwabuisi-Ezeala, Western Michigan’s Mason Nelson and Southeast Missouri’s Jaylon Stone. The Commodores have also added Northern Arizona tackle Clinton Azubuike and Washburn receiver Tre Richardson.

Among returning players expected to see significant time on the defensive line for the Commodores in 2025 are Yilanan Ouattara, Glenn Seabrooks, Zaylin Wood, Linus Zunk and Khordae Sydnor.
