A pair of Nebraska football coaches had an in-home visit with a class of 2026 commit. Defensive coordinator John Butler and defensive backs coach Addison Williams met with four-star cornerback CJ Bronaugh on Thursday evening.
Bronaugh has been committed to Nebraska since November 26 and will return to the Lincoln campus on June 8. He’s currently rated as the nation’s No. 7 cornerback and the No. 71 overall prospect according to 247Sports.
The class of 2026 commit has planned a series of visits to other schools, including a Big Ten rival. Bronaugh will visit to Nebraska on June 6.
He has also told On3 (subscription required) that he plans to visit the Florida Gators the weekend of May 30, the Florida State Seminoles on June 13, and has an official visit scheduled with the Penn State Nittany Lions on June 20.
It should come as no surprise that Nebraska would have coaches on the road visiting with a top commit. Bronaugh has drawn even more interest since committing, and with multiple programs still actively recruiting him, Nebraska’s coaches will do what they need to keep that commitment.
