Star linebacker recruit Izayia Williams commits to Ole Miss

OXFORD – Linebacker Izayia Williams – a consensus four-star recruit and a top-60 prospect in the 2026 class according to 247Sports’ Composite – has committed to Ole Miss, he announced on social media Friday. Williams, who is from Tavares, Florida, was most recently committed to Florida. He is rated as the nation’s No. 3 linebacker prospect in the 2026 class in 247Sports’ Composite rankings.

As a junior last season at Tavares High School, the 6-foot-1 1/2, 215-pound Williams racked up 125 tackles and four sacks at linebacker and 520 yards from scrimmage and 10 touchdowns on offense. He is the No. 51 overall player in the 2026 class and sixth-ranked recruit from Florida, according to 247Sports’ Composite.

Williams is the sixth-known and highest-rated commit in the Rebels’ 2026 recruiting class.
