Vols offer 2028 football prospect from Arizona

Tennessee is already working to recruit 2028 football prospects. The Vols offered 2028 defensive lineman Jalanie George a scholarship.

“After a great conversations with coach Joey Halzle, I am blessed to receive my 11th D1 offer Vol football,” George announced.

George is from Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Arizona. He has not accumulated any recruiting rankings from 247Sports, Rivals or On3.

Kansas was the first school to offer George a scholarship on Oct. 4, 2024. He holds additional scholarship offers from Arizona, Texas A&M, Nebraska, USC, Vanderbilt, Idaho, Alabama, Oregon, Texas and Kansas State.

Tennessee does not have any commitments for its 2027 or 2028 football recruiting classes.

The Vols have seven commitments for their 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, wide receiver Tyran Evans, linebacker Braylon Outlaw and defensive lineman C.J. Edwards.
