Recruiting Roundup: Taking A Look At Which Recruits Headed To Montlake For The Spring Game

Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Huskies hosted their spring game on Friday and they had a bunch of local prospects & most of their commits up for the game. There were supposed to be some official visitors on campus but the Huskies cancelled those due to some logistics complications it sounds like. However they still had unofficial visitors on campus. Here is a look at who made it up to Montlake:

4 star edge Derek Colman-Brusa was on campus for an unofficial visit to check out the Husky team. The Huskies were going to have him on campus for an official visit but they moved that back a few weeks to May 30th. Getting him on campus as much as possible is very important for the Huskies. Ohio State, Oregon, and USC are all scheduled to get official visits from him but it sounds like his recruitment is trending back the Huskies way. Colman-Brusa is rated as the 16th best edge and top player in the state in the 2026 class.

3 star edge teammates David Schwerzel and Fameitau Siale from O’Dea HS were also on campus. The Huskies are trying to push and land some of their top targets along the defensive line and both Schwerzel and Siale are top targets. The Huskies will host host for official visits in a few weeks and hopefully see some movement from them after their visits (they are both scheduled to visit several other schools).

3 star linebacker Ramzak Fruean from Bethel HS, WA was another top in-state target who was campus for the spring game. The Huskies have been pushing pretty hard for Fruean for a while and they would love to add the 6’4” and 205 pound linebacker to their 2026 class. Fruean is scheduled to visit Montlake at the end of June and appears to be favoring the Huskies as of right now.
