USC football recruiting tsunami continues to roll heading into 2026

The USC football recruiting juggernaut simply isn’t letting up. This is wild.

Saturday, USC football landed a new commit. No, this is not a repeat of the previous day’s story, or the day before, or the day before that. For the fourth time in four days, the Trojans added a new addition to their top-ranked 2026 recruiting class. The latest addition three-star wide receiver Luc Weaver, who comes to USC from Sherman Oaks, California. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 339 overall player and the No. 53 wide receiver in the class of 2026.

With the addition of Weaver, USC now had 26 commits in its 2026 recruiting class. Of those 26, 16 are ranked as either four or five-stars by 247Sports Composite. One would imagine that by attrition, not every single prospect will stick, but with the numbers USC is stockpiling, the Trojans have more than enough depth and quality to deal with roster changes or injuries.

Under new general manager Chad Bowden, the Trojans are taking care of business on the recruiting trail. Now, it is up to Lincoln Riley and the coaching staff to take care of business on the field.
