An LSU football recruiting target set a date for when he’ll announce his college decision for later this summer.
2026 lineman Lamar Brown will choose on July 10, according to a report from Rivals. The outlet lists the Tigers and Texas A&M as the front-runners for his services.
A five-star prospect out of Erwinville, LA, Brown is the top recruit in Louisiana, according to On3’s Industry Rankings. He ranks No. 15 overall in his class. He would be the third five-star commitment in LSU’s 2026 class, alongside Tristen Keys and fellow Louisiana native Richard Anderson.
If he chooses LSU, Brown could play on either side of the football. The six-foot-three, 285-pounder drew rave reviews about his agility throughout his recruiting cycle. Only time will tell where he’d play for LSU, but there’s no doubt he’d be a phenomenal get for head coach Brian Kelly’s team.
