WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue football’s spring transfer portal additions have supplied help to special teams.

Already with former Washington punter Jack McCallister, who spent the spring at Nebraska, and former Georgia longsnapper Luke Raab lured to the Boilermaker roster, coach Barry Odom’s staff added another potential weapon in the kicking game.

Connecticut kicker and punter Seth Turner committed to the Boilers on Monday.

Turner has three years of eligibility remaining.

Sophomore Spencer Porath appeared unchallenged for Purdue’s extra points and field goal kicker role in the spring. Arkansas transfer Sam Dubwig and Purdue holdover Bennett Boehnlein swapped reps at punter throughout the spring.
