Michigan Wolverines head football coach Sherrone Moore is expected to suspend himself for weeks three and four of the 2025 college football season as a punishment in the advanced scouting case. The Wolverines will play the Huskers in the fourth week of the season.
The Huskers will be looking to get their first win over the Wolverines since 2013. The two programs have met four times since then, with Michigan winning the most recent matchup in 2023 by a 45-7 margin.
This will be Nebraska’s first game in conference after playing their first three games of the season. They will be looking to improve upon a 7-6 record in 2024, which included a win in the Pinstripe Bowl. Michigan is coming off an 8-5 record, which included a 5-4 record in Big Ten play. They defeated Alabama in the Reliaquest Bowl by a 19-13 score.
A lot could be riding on this game for the Huskers. This piece of news certainly provides an interesting subplot.
