Which top 2026 prospects will be in Boulder this weekend?
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is set to host a high-profile group of 2026 recruits in Boulder this weekend for official visits.
This weekend will be Colorado’s second major recruiting weekend as just last week the Buffaloes hosted some of the top recruits in the nation. This weekend features players of the same caliber. The Buffs are hosting a total of six recruits which include: a wide receiver, three defensive backs, an offensive lineman and a tight end.
Five-star wide receiver
Leading this weekend’s group is five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan, who is the No. 13 overall player in the 2026 class according to the 247Sports Composite. Morgan like most of the recruits this weekend will be on the first official visit of their recruiting process.
Morgan is the highest-ranked recruit coming this weekend and holds a total of 30 offers including offers from Alabama and Georgia. The Alabama native is ranked as the No. 1 player in his state and the No. 3 wide receiver overall. If Morgan was to commit to Colorado he would be the highest-ranked wide receiver recruit in school history. However, crystal ball predictions have him leaning towards Auburn and Alabama.
Four-star defensive backs
Cornerback Dorian Barney is the highest-ranked four-star recruit visiting this weekend. The 6-foot-1 Georgia native is ranked No. 163 nationally with over 50 offers. Barney is the No. 15 overall cornerback and No. 17 in Georgia. He has unofficially visited the Miami Hurricanes, but the Buffs will be his first official visit.
The second defensive-back recruit is four-star safety Jordan Deck. Deck holds 36 offers including other Big 12 schools such as Baylor and Arizona. He is the No. 54 ranked player in Texas and No. 31 safety nationally.
