Texas A&M’s most significant offseason addition will continue to be former NC State wide receiver KC Concepcion until further notice, as the Aggies’ 2024 WR corps was lacking juice and the separation skills necessary to make a dent in the passing game against SEC secondaries.

While blaming starting quarterback Marcel Reed is fashionable, he was always in need of more reliable pass catchers, as head coach Mike Elko, OC Collin Klein, and WR coach Holmon Wiggins secured Concepcion’s commitment early in the offseason, knowing that he would immediately enter the lineup as the teams No. 1 wide receiver in 2025.

On Friday, it was revealed that Elko and his staff likely aren’t finished adding at least one more wide receiver to the 2025 lineup, and the recent name that came to light happens to be KC Concepcion’s brother, Arrion Concepcion, who was previously committed to Kansas State and reportedly visited College Station and Prairie View A&M. According to On3 insider Pete Nakos, Concepcion will be a summer enrollee for whatever program he chooses.

A member of the 2025 recruiting class, Concepcion was a three-star prospect, with Kansas State and NC State being his biggest offer, so it’s no surprise he chose the Wildcats after decommitting from the Wolfpack. However, just like his brother, he has a chance to play well above his recruiting ranking, which could be with the Aggies this season.
